When you’re out of butter, you need to make do with what you got. Canola? Nah. Olive oil? Hmmm, doesn’t sound too bad. Pan spray? Nasty. Gosh, if only we had something with similar properties to butter. What can we use? Didn’t we have bacon for breakfast? Yeah! We can use bacon grease! It spreads just like butter. It toasts just like butter. But mmmmm….mmmmm… it tastes like heaven.
